The SPARC 2025 Innovation Award is a platform that celebrates creativity, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking among young students. If you are a student from class 6 to 10 in Bengaluru, this is your chance to showcase your innovative ideas and contribute to a better future. Whether it’s a science project or a tech invention, we want to see your unique ideas that can SPARC change! If you are a School Leader or a Teacher in Bengaluru, this is a great opportunity for you to get your students’ curiosity SPARC-ing! Your school stands to win a STEM Lab among other free gifts and goodies if your students’ innovations stand out.
Here is a little bit about us, the ORGANIZERS : Tan90 is a young startup on a mission to revolutionize STEAM education, making it accessible, engaging, and empowering for every student in India. Our journey began in 2021 with a vision to transform the way young minds learn and innovate and today, we work with over 300 schools in 18 states across India. As part of our interventions in schools, we set up STEM Labs, support the teachers in integrating Lab usage as part of their Science and Mathematics classes and conduct STEM Exhibitions in schools where students present solutions to real life problems as working prototypes.
This year instead of conducting school level science exhibitions in 70 schools across Bengaluru, we decided to celebrate the curiosity and innovative spirit among all students in the city, and thus SPARC 2025 was born!

ROUND 1 - My BIG Idea!
For this round you have to register by filling out our form and share your idea based on the SDG you choose to work on. Make sure you fill out your idea in as much detail as possible and remember to upload a detailed sketch! Pictures always make more sense than words - remember that!

- Results to be declared - 14th November, 2024
ROUND 2 - Prototyping Power!
Now is the time to wear your tinker hat and power up! If your idea has been shortlisted, you and your school will be informed and you will now have to start building your working prototype. Once your prototype is ready, record all the details the team will ask for, in a new form and hit submit. Do remember to get feedback on your prototype and fine tune it - the more the feedback, the better your solutions, and higher the chances of you winning this round!

ROUND 3 - Ultimate Showdown - Time to SPARC-le!
This is it! You’ve made it to the end. The best of the best will get a chance to present their prototypes, at SPARC 2025 in person, to a panel of esteemed judges and win the ultimate prize - a cash prize of 20,000 and a free STEM Lab for your school! Who will be in the panel, you ask? Think of scientists from ISRO, high profile founders, and teachers who love to tinker.

To participate in the competition, you have to register by clicking on the link provided on this page and pay a nominal fee of INR 100.
Students in Classes 6 - 10 in the city of Bengaluru can participate in Sparc 2025.
Fill out the online registration form and pay INR 100 to participate in the competition.
Round 1 which is also the registration round will close on 30 October 2024.
Each registration is for a single idea that can have a team of up to 2 students. Either a single student registers or 2 students can form a team and register in a single entry.

Congratulations on making it to Round 2. Now is the time to bring your idea to life. Build a working model of your solution. Make sure your model is original and works properly. You will need to submit a video showing your working model and explain how it solves the problem you have chosen.
Congratulations on making it to SPARC 2025! The finals will be held at a centrally located venue in Bengaluru in the 3rd week of February 2025. The venue and the finale details will be shared by December 2025.
Yes! Everyone is welcome to attend the event. Make sure you bring as many of your friends and family members to SPARC 2025.
